McPherson Wines XV Pure Cabernet Sauvignon, South Eastern Australia, 2021
Grapes: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Ruby Cabernet. Old vine fruit grown on the banks of the Murray River. Aged for 6 to 12 in French oak barrels. Selected parcels make up the final blend of this wine made by Jo Nash.
Dark red in colour with purple hue. Lifted nose of vanilla, blackberry and red currant. Displays notes of spice and rich black fruits on the palate. Perfectly balanced, with a firm, smooth tannin structure, it finishes with lengthy ripe fruits and French oak.
