Lopez de Haro Tempranillo, 2022

Using only juicy Tempranillo grapes, the short barrel ageing adds complexity to the red fruits and liquorice aromas of this fresh Rioja. A tasty wine, rich in fruit, with a sweet tannin structure, it perfectly accompanies Iberian cured meats.

Navardia Rioja Joven (Organic), 2021

`Joven` is a fruity, unoaked style of Rioja. Navardia's organic blend of Tempranillo with Garnacha and Graciano has abundantly perfumed aromas of red forest fruits, raspberries, redcurrants, black pepper and liquorice spice, hints of flowers, milk caramel and slight mineral undertones. In the mouth, it combines intensity with smoothness, well rounded tannins and abundant fruit.

Old vine Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo are given a full 12 months' ageing in American oak barrels to give ripe blackcurrant and cherry notes which are well integrated with toasted aromas of cinnamon, caramelised toffee and butter.
