Grape: 100% Chardonnay, limestone/scree soil, 35 year old vines, certified sustainable farming, hand picked, 40hl/ha yield, barrel fermented, aged 10 months in French oak barrels (50% new)
This wine exhibits complex fruity and floral aromas particularly of exotic fruits and honey. On the palate it is well balanced with subtle touches of vanilla. This Premier Cru has a lovely richness and a good structure.
The Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru is a blend of wines from different indvidual premier cru sites within the village. Maison Louis Latour carefully screens the selection of premier cru wines that make up this blend choosing only those that offer sufficient maturity and consistency over the years.
