Prosecco is an Italian sparkling white wine made from Glera grapes. Although this has now due to the success of Prosecco been expanded to include Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay D.O.C. Prosecco is produced in Friuli, Venezia, Giulia and Veneto, and in the areas near Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the hills north of Treviso.
Light and refreshing, Prosecco is known as the main ingredient of the Bellini cocktail. It’s the perfect welcome drink.
