"Deep sweet cherry nose and lightly spiced. Quite lightweight in the middle but still has plenty of fresh fruit, very easy, but not simple. Fresh, light grip on the finish"

"While I found the Jadot 2007 village Nuits-St.-Georges – in fact composed of numerous lots of premier crus – disappointingly astringent and drying, the corresponding 2007 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Boudots – representing the collection’s sole Nuits 1er cru bottling – is fascinating and satisfying. Blond tobacco, celery salt, and fresh cherry lead to a juicy palate impression subtly marked by bitterness of cherry pit and hints of dried herbs. A high-toned suggestion of maraschino and vanilla hovers over the entire performance. This has real charm and sap, will be worth following for at least a half dozen years, and might even gain over the next several."
