Beaujolais Nouveau that cherry-red coloured wine that’s best served chilled -- is clearly not for wine snobs. This fresh and fruity red is the result of a quick fermentation process that ends up with a tasty, clean wine that is enjoyed by wine lovers the world over.
The Gamay grapes that go into Beaujolais Nouveau are handpicked in the Beaujolais province of France.
Beaujolais had always made a vin de l'année to celebrate the end of the harvest and now on every third Thursday of November Frazier's celebrates Beaujolais Nouveau day.
This
year as a natural celebration of the first wine from Beaujolais in
2018 why not try a no added sulphur and unfiltered Beaujolais Villages Nouveau?
Natural wine has many critics most of which circle around the wines ability to
be stored and stay stable. Beaujolais Nouveau is designed to be drunk
fresh and young and so is the ideal wine for this style of wine making.
Our Beaujolais Nouveau is sourced as we do most years from the team at Jean
Loron, leaders in wine making in Burgundy for many years.
We will also be stocking the straight Beaujolais Nouveau.
Please place your orders as soon as possible to ensure you get your wine. We
have to order ahead to get our allocation and once were sold out we are sold
out.
