Grape: 100% Albarino, certified sustainable growing, machine picked/destemmed, fermented in stainless steel tanks with a short lees ageing.

Nautilus Estate was established by the Australian Hill-Smith family in 1985 when there were only 80 wineries in the whole of New Zealand.

This is a limited edition, single vineyard wine. Albariño, one of the most distinctive varieties from Spain, is a recent introduction to the pristine wine growing region of Marlborough.

On the nose, it shows fragrant white peaches, white florals, with hints of spicy ginger and preserved lemons. The palate is flavoursome and fleshy with a refreshingly zingy, saline finish.

"A moderately restrained, youthful, delicate nose with subtle yet appealing aromas of peach skin, preserved lemon, gala apple, raw cashew and coriander. Light-bodied but with a positive, crunchy mid-palate texture, a refreshing flavour of sliced apple and a crisp, salivating acid finish. A good example of the variety and a pleasant, crisp, dry white wine for summer sipping."
