Deep garnet red colour. The nose is rich and powerful with floral iris, faded rose, spices and ripe fruits (blackcurrant, blackberries and cherries). The palate is long, fleshy, powerful, structured and robust. This is a wine for laying down par excellence.

The Domaine des Ailes is located in the village of Romanèche-Thorins with the vineyard planted mid-slope (at 200m).
