Grape: Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Champagne is a glorious pink colour with rounded fruit flavours and is not only a superb aperitif, but also a good match for a variety of different dishes.

Producer Tasting Note:

Elegant, with colour changing naturally from a pretty raspberry hue to salmon pink. A precise nose of extraordinary freshness and a wide range of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry. A fresh and sharp attack for this supple and rounded wine. On the palate, it offers the sensation of plunging into a basket of freshly picked red berries.

"The latest iteration of Laurent-Perrier's NV Brut Cuvée Rosé is showing brilliantly, bursting from the glass with notes of smoky red berry fruit, apples, blood orange, pomegranate and warm biscuits. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and vinous, with a delicate mousse, good depth at the core and ripe acids, concluding with a sapid, gently phenolic finish. This is a sophisticated, gastronomic rosé that would work well at table."

"La Cuvée Rosé, the world's top selling rosé champagne, is as recognizable for its distinctive bottle shape as for its smouldering red fruit profile. Entirely pinot noir, this was sourced from 10 villages in Montagne de Reims, primarily Grand Crus. It spent up to three days in contact with skins before bleeding off (saignée), and spent a minimum of 60 months on lees before a disgorgement around 9 g/L. Strawberry, red apple, cherry wraps around a brioche core, with light toast and an ample lees base, kissed with meringue, and finishing with soft spice. Very friendly, safe, and approachable, it's easy to see why this is such a big seller."

Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is made using nearly a dozen crus, most of them grands crus. They mainly derive from the South and North parts of the Montagne de Reims - including the celebrated Côte de Bouzy - with a preference for crus from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois, the south part of Tours-sur-Marne, Verzenay, Verzy and the north part of Mailly. 

Grape supplies are the guarantee of Cuvée Rosé's undeniable quality and consistency of style. To succeed with such exacting requirements, Laurent-Perrier relies on the privileged relationships it has built up with grape growers over many years. The quality of its supplies means Laurent-Perrier can be extremely selective. The best vines and the best crus are chosen so that, in each harvest, only grapes of the quality required to make such a rosé wine are selected. In parallel, special plots in the vineyards owned by Laurent-Perrier itself have been adapted for growing Pinot Noir grapes using special methods.
