Established in 1983 by the Vickers family in South Staffordshire, Halfpenny Green now has 30 acres of vineyards which are looked after by founder, Martin Vickers. His son, Clive, is the winemaker of these award-winning wines. Sixteen different varieties are planted, most of which are hybrids suitable to the changeable English weather, but classic French grapes are planted for the production of sparkling wines.
Pale pink with a delightful effervescence, our young, fresh and exciting sparkling rosé brings in a citrussy note on the nose, with redcurrant and watermelon bouncing through on the fizz when tasting.
Serve chilled for a special occasion, but accompanies olives, bread and dips, as well as partnering brunch and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
