The Cave de Fleurie has been making wine for over 90 years and this wine is named after Marguerite Chabert (Cooperative president from 1946 to 1984).
A wine, light in body, though an intense purple / ruby colour, with bright cherry and red fruit aromas.
A fresh palate of soft red summer fruits, together with hints of strawberries and raspberries in this delightful red wine. Soft tannins and highly drinkable.
A great match with white meats, free-range chicken in a creamy sauce with morels, duck breast, vegetarian dishes and mature cheeses.
