Grape: 100% Pinot Noir, hand picked, fermented in stainless steel, aged 10 months in French oak barriques (30% new).
Fruit sourced from the Defiance and Domain Road vineyards in Bannockburn.
Deep garnet in colour, with fragrant aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe plum mixed with hints of clove, cinnamon and leather, on the nose. The palate is rich and concentrated with red berry fruits, dark plums, chocolate, leather and hints of Christmas spice. A complex concentrated wine with lovely fine grained tannins, balanced minerality and a long plum and spice finish.
