Grape: 100% Merlot, hand harvested, basket pressed, 12 months in oak (80% French & 20% American)
A classic style, fruity and elegant tannins. Complex with a long mouth feel. This Merlot shouts red fruit on the nose with underlying hints of star anise and smoky aromas.
The Clos Malverne wine farm was established by owner Seymour Pritchard in 1969 with the first commercial wine released in 1988.
