100% Nebbiolo with at least two years in large casks made of oak (from Slavonia and mid-France), followed by no less than twelve months in the bottle. 

This Barolo has an attractive ruby-red colour with garnet highlights which become orange with the passing of time. Its bouquet is clean, full and intense, with the wine's typical traces of withered flowers, dry leaves and underbrush.

"It is always a pleasure to taste this entry-level Barolo from Fontanafredda... and for a Barolo, we can say that it is not expensive. Its liveliness, typical of the Nebbiolo grape variety from which it comes, and its structure, are just some of its assets. Well-structured, adorned with a low intensity orange-red color, this wine is distinguished on the nose by an attractive bouquet of aromas releasing scents of cherries, plums and licorice, dotted with nuances of spices, tobacco and flowers. On the palate, it is round, full, velvety and well balanced, integrating fruit tannins well and ending with a long finish with expressive flavors. In short, an excellent introduction to the world of Barolos! Oxygenate in a carafe ±1 hour and serve at 17°C.
